Modern Mountain Retreat

Vail, Colorado

The Modern Mountain Retreat is a complete luxury home renovation in a ski village near Vail, Colorado. Rather than leaning on rustic mountain clichés, we created a refined, timeless home that connects to its alpine setting through materials. In the kitchen, a warm stained white oak island pairs with creamy flat-panel perimeter cabinetry, while Taj Mahal quartzite counters, professional-grade appliances, Rocky Mountain Hardware, natural stone, and iron details add texture and depth.

At Sarah Hart Interior Design, we believe second homes should feel as personal and intentional as a primary residence. From ski homes in Vail Valley to coastal retreats in Charleston, we design timeless, layered interiors built to be enjoyed for years.
