Sarah Hart is based in Denver, Colorado with a studio in Charleston, South Carolina. Her work starts with the architecture of the house — what it already wants to be — and builds from there into rooms that feel collected rather than decorated, and specific to the people living in them. She takes select projects outside both markets.

It’s so nice to meet you! I am originally from Northern Virginia and moved to Denver in 2018. It’s our home now, though we keep a studio in Charleston, South Carolina, so we've got one foot on the coast.

Ten years in this industry and my favorite version of a workday still ends with drywall dust in my hair. I love the messy middle of a project, the part most people would rather skip. It’s truly my passion. What I've learned in that time is that most people don't want more options — they want the right ones. So I do the digging on the back end and bring the showroom to you, narrowed down to a handful of things I'd genuinely put in the house, ensuring they will be here on time and fit within your budget. You should get to enjoy this process. Building or renovating a home is one of the biggest things you'll do, and it shouldn't feel like a second job.

My husband Ben and I have three kids, two dogs, and two cats — a full house on a good day, a small circus on the others. We love hiking and outdoor adventures. I’m also on mission to find the best iced vanilla latte in Denver, so I’d love to meet you for coffee!
