SCOPE OF WORK: project was a full main-level renovation, taken down to the studs and completely reimagined as a luxury home renovation. What was once a choppy early 2000s flip is now a bright, open, and timeless space designed for entertaining, family living, and effortless style. The redesign included a fully reworked floor plan, new solid white oak hardwood flooring, plaster walls throughout the main level, all custom cabinetry, new windows, decorative lighting, a fully renovated kitchen with professional grade appliances, and thoughtfully curated furniture. Every detail was chosen to create a home that feels timeless, layered, and highly personal, from the textures in handwoven textiles and soft furnishings to the carefully considered lighting and finishes.

Our client, a self-proclaimed minimalist who loves texture and layers, wanted a home that felt curated yet effortless. As the founder of the luxury PR firm BON Communications, she envisioned a space that radiates the same sophistication she brings to her clients’ spaces: elevated yet inviting, functional yet cozy. The result is a home that balances work and family life perfectly: open and collaborative enough for her team to work comfortably, yet intimate and warm for her family and new baby. Designed by Charleston interior designer Sarah Hart Interior Design, with a focus on high end, timeless interiors, this renovation demonstrates how thoughtful design, luxury finishes, and careful attention to lifestyle can completely transform a home.

THE IMPACT: This project supported TEN local craftsman during the construction process, SIX handmade artisan lighting vendors and EIGHTEEN small makers. SEVEN vintage pieces in this project were used. SEVENTEEN of these businesses are women-owned.
